Are you a “Ru”?
Kainos Dance Christmas 2011 Scholarship

What is a “Ru”? In the spirit of the Christmas season, a “Ru” stands for Rudolph. Have you ever been bullied like Rudolph was “bullied”? We all have differences. But, sometimes we are picked on because of our uniqueness. What we all love about the Rudolph story is the fact that what the world may perceive as a “negative” can actually, in God’s eyes, be a “positive”. Kids today are picked on mercilessly because of various factors such as their overall looks, race, culture, height, weight, grades, financial status or just being the new kid. It’s time to embrace our differences and move forward. Bullying must go!
If you know a child/youth between the ages of 8-17, who is interested in praise dance and has been bullied in the past, please have them e-mail their story to info@kainosdance.com by January 7, 2011. Two e-mails will be chosen from among the submissions, and the child/youth will be awarded with a full scholarship for the Spring session (January 28 – March 31). All e-mail submissions will remain confidential. Parental/guardian approval is required before scholarships can be awarded. Please spread the word about the: Are you a “Ru” ?- Kainos Dance Christmas 2011 Scholarship.
